Big Budah’s blog: Honoring my father’s service

and last updated

I didn’t plan my blog to be this way, it just happened. Last week I honored my Mother, and this week I am honoring my father, Lisona Ieti Te’o, for two reasons.

One my father was a veteran of the Army branch, HOOAH!! It is from him that I get my love and honor for this country and the numerous liberties my family and I enjoy because of men and women like him.

This week also marks the anniversary of my dad’s passing from colon and prostate cancer that was enhanced and complicated by obesity. I use his memory to drive me and push me, but the lives of my kids is what inspires and motivates me to continue to work hard at the gym and eat right… Losing for Life is strong and well I am happy to say.

I can't express how grateful I am to all who have helped and continue to help me, including family and friends, try to keep my promise to my daughter to be around to walk her down the aisle.
