I had a great week setting some new personal bests with my work out.

One example is that my deadlift max is now 320 pounds. When I started, I could only lift 90 pounds. It is so fulfilling to see the progress and success from hard work.

IMG_1843This is the first week of growing my facial hair for Movember. I do it every year to honor my Father, who died of colon and prostate cancer. He is also a big inspiration to keep me pushing to stay healthy, miss you Dad.

My biggest and best highlight this week is my Mom passing her test to become a U.S. Citizen! I want to congratulate her and thank her for everything she has ever done and continues to do for me. I am a grown ass man, but my Mother still asks me when she gets the chance "Son are you going to church on Sunday?" Gotta love her never give up spirit to keep me on the straight and narrow.
