Gina Wagner, a mom/writer/photographer, is getting a lot of attention online for a recent project she completed.
Her son, Miles, had recently asked for an “American Boy” doll. It turns out, American Girl DOES make boy dolls, just not in their standard 18-inch size. That’s when Wagner decided to create her own.
In a blog post, she explains how she turned an 18-inch Madame Alexander doll into a mini Miles. “In all, I invested less than $50 and a couple hours to give my son the doll of his dreams,” Wagner wrote.
She said Miles loves his new toy– and he’s named him Fred Jones!
