What a week! My in-laws from California and Arizona came to spend some time with us as Kingslee adjusts to being home. I have been hitting Vasa with Kingslee and loving it.
I have had a jam-packed week of family fun and some firsts in a long while. The first church function with my son in two years was priesthood session of LDS General Conference. We took Kingslee to Boondocks, and it was his first visit there in more than two years. It was good to see everyone adjusting well to him being home.
We took in “Furious 7” at Jordan Commons IMAX theater, and it was our first time ever at an IMAX theater. It is going to be hard to go back to the regular theater now. The movie was really good and the tribute to Paul Walker was a nice touch.
As if this wasn’t enough fun, I also got to meet Marshawn Lynch and Andre Miller while grooving to Ludacris at Domopalooza at Grand America–shout out to my boy Sione Havili for the invite.
I believe that I have the energy to participate in all these activities because of the change in my lifestyle and weight loss. Thank you to everyone for their support and positivity on my Losing for Life journey!
