MAGNA, Utah — One driver was injured after crashing through a fence near a Magna mobile home community Friday night.
Unified Police tells FOX 13 News the crash occurred just after 9:00 p.m., when a speeding vehicle heading south on 8400 W crashed into a vehicle in the northbound lane that was attempted a left turn into the Sunset Vista manufactured home community located on Sunset Hills Drive.
The vehicle then crashed through a fence in the area, but police say no mobile homes were damaged. The speeding driver was transported to a local hospital in fair condition.
In addition to the vehicle attempting to turn, another separate vehicle was struck during the crash. Only one of the drivers was transported to the hospital for an evaluation, while the third driver told first responders they would transport themselves for medical attention.
At time of reporting, Unified Police say speed was the primary factor in the crash.
