DRAPER, Utah — Some residents of a Draper neighborhood are without water Wednesday morning after a water line broke.
A statement on the city’s website said a water line in Seven Oaks area of Suncrest has broken.
“Draper City Public Works reports a waterline has broken in the Seven Oaks area of SunCrest and many homeowners will be without water until the line is fixed. Please avoid the area,” the statement said.
Around 3:15 p.m., the city stated that repairing the broken line is taking longer than expected due to the rain and they estimate the line will be repaired by about 6 p.m.
A representative for Draper City told FOX 13 the line break is affecting fewer than 100 homes and a community center. There has been no flooding and no schools are affected.
