Three killed in shooting at Walmart in Colorado

UPDATE: Thornton Police confirmed just after 10 p.m. that no suspects are in custody at this point.

They also stated that the female injured in the shooting has died, bringing the total number of people killed in the incident to three.

THORNTON, Colo. — Multiple parties are down in a shooting at a Colorado Walmart Wednesday, according to police.

Just before 8 p.m., Thornton Police confirmed two males were killed and one female was transported to a hospital. It was not immediately clear if there were any additional injuries.

The shooting happened at 9900 Grant Street in Thornton in the early evening. Responding officers evacuated the store.

Police want people to stay away from the area.

As of 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, Thornton Police confirmed the incident is not an active shooter situation.
