SALT LAKE CITY - One person has died after his car went underneath a semi truck in Salt Lake City Thursday.
Salt Lake City Fire said the crash at Bangerter and California Ave. shut down the northbound and southbound lanes for hours.
The Utah Highway Patrol said a green Taurus ran a red light and wound up underneath the tractor trailer, killing 29-year-old Antonio Martinez.
According to his Facebook page, Martinez is from the Magna area.
He leaves behind a wife and children.
