Provo Police seek help after pedestrian critically injured in hit-and-run crash

PROVO, Utah — Police in Provo are hoping the public can help them find answers after a 53-year-old man was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash early Friday morning.

The crash occurred sometime around 4:45 a.m. in the intersection of 300 South University Avenue.

According to Provo PD, the 53-year-old man was struck by a vehicle while in the roadway, and the vehicle did not remain at the scene.

Police have very little information about the crash and the car involved, and they are hoping someone may have seen or heard something relating to the crash.

The victim was taken to a hospital and remains in critical condition.
