GILBERT, Ariz. — A single engine airplane crashed into an Arizona home Saturday night, causing a fire to break out, but the pilots and occupants had all already jumped from the aircraft.

Gilbert Fire and Rescue posted several photos of the scene of the crash, which was in the 400 Block of East Baylor in Gilbert.

According to the Gilbert Police Department, the plane was carrying skydivers for the annual Constitution Fair. All skydivers have been accounted for, and the pilot was transported for treatment of burns.

Fire officials said the pilot parachuted from the plane and was later found and transported to a hospital.

The homeowners are safe, officials said.

Firefighters responded to extinguish the blaze.
