LOGAN, Utah — Police responded to the scene of a crash in Logan Wednesday and found a school bus carrying first graders was involved, and a small fire that broke out as a result of the crash was extinguished.

Capt. Tyson Budge of the Logan Police Department said the crash occurred at 600 South and 200 West and involved a bus carrying first grade students from Logan.

Fox 13 News first heard report of the crash around 3:30 p.m.

A small fire broke out after the crash, but it was put out with an extinguisher. There were no injuries to the children, and Budge said he doesn’t believe any of the adults were injured either.

The students were transferred to another bus. It was not immediately clear what caused the crash to occur.
