Second victim in Midvale shooting identified

MIDVALE, Utah – Authorities have identified the second victim in a shooting that left one man dead in Midvale Saturday morning.

Twenty-year-old Brenner Larson is in critical condition after he was shot at an Brighton Place Apartments. Deondre Baldwin, 21, was also shot, but was dead when police arrived on scene.

Unified police responded to the complex at 9 a.m. on a report of shots fired. When they arrived at one of the units they found Baldwin dead and Larson injured with a gunshot wound. Another man was in the apartment but didn’t suffer any injuries, according to police.

Authorities are looking for two male suspects. As of Sunday afternoon, police had no new information on a possible motive for the shootings.
