Small grass fire quickly contained near Ogden’s Dinosaur Park

OGDEN, Utah — No structures were threatened after a four-acre grass fire broke out west of Ogden’s George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park, early Sunday morning.

At about 1:09 a.m., Ogden Fire Department were dispatched to the blaze at 1544 S. Park Blvd. The fire grew to about four acres but never threatened structures of power lines in the area.

The flames were contained just before 3 a.m. The cause is undetermined.
