SALT LAKE CITY — Fire crews were called to a house fire in Salt Lake City Saturday morning after a passerby noticed smoke coming from the roof.
Crews responded to 323 E. 1300 S. after reports of a fire starting in the attic of a home. Police said the person who noticed the smoke knocked on a neighbor’s door to ensure it was not normal and called 911.
The SLC Fire Department said all occupants were out of the house when they arrived. Fire crews were able to control the fire within ten minutes and have it fully extinguished. The home has a small hole in the roof and minor damages.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
