- Give people the benefit of the doubt.
- Ask yourself, "What is it costing me to be right?"
- Consider if the energy you're bringing to the conversation is defensive.
- Apologize more. When in doubt, be humble.
- Don't be a doormat. You can stand up for yourself without conflict.
