Tips on how to stop being offended

Michelle McCullough, a success coach, shared a few tips for ways to stop getting offended:

  • Give people the benefit of the doubt.
  • Ask yourself, "What is it costing me to be right?"
  • Consider if the energy you're bringing to the conversation is defensive.
  • Apologize more. When in doubt, be humble.
  •  Don't be a doormat. You can stand up for yourself without conflict.
