TAYLORSVILLE, Utah -- Two teens, ages 15 and 16, are in the hospital after they were hit by a car in Taylorsville, Tuesday night.
The 15-year-old girl is in critical condition and the 16-year-old is in fair condition.
Officers said the girls were walking in a crosswalk at the intersection of 1365 W. 4800 S., when they were hit by a vehicle traveling east at about 9:15 p.m.
Authorities said this may be a case of distracted driving; the driver is cooperating with police.
The accident is under investigation.
