Arson determined in South Jordan fires

SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — Two homes that went up in flames on Monday, July 11 were purposely set on fire, Tina Brown, spokesperson for South Jordan City confirmed.

Authorities are still investigating and have not released any more information on the arson, including what was used to to start the blaze.

Fire crews were called to the River Bottoms area of South Jordan on July 11 where they found two homes and two construction dumpsters in flames.

The homes were under construction at the time and no one was injured in the fires.
