SALT LAKE CITY -- The GOP Convention in Cleveland will only host half of Utah’s Congressional Delegation.

Representatives Jason Chaffetz, Mia Love and Chris Stewart will not attend.

Chaffetz staff says he will be on a long-planned overseas trip. The 2nd District representative is one of Washington’s most visible lawmakers as chair of the House Oversight Committee. He has not formally endorsed Trump, though he has said he will support the GOP nominee.

Rep. Mia Love will campaign in Utah, telling FOX 13 News she would avoid the “vortex of this negative atmosphere,” at the convention. Love was mentioned as a potential Vice Presidential pick at various points in the race for the nomination.

Rep. Chris Stewart will also campaign in Utah. Stewart said he will support Trump as a nominee, but he expressed strong reservations about the candidate, including a comparison to Italy’s former fascist dictator Benito Mussolini.
