SALT LAKE CITY — Three officers with Spanish Fork Public Safety traveled to Dallas to represent the department in the upcoming services of five officers killed in the line of duty.

Lt. Brandon Anderson, Officer Bryan DeWitt and Det. Zach Robinson met with Dallas Police Chief David Brown, Tuesday, and offered support as they attend the services, according to a Facebook post from the public safety department.

On Thursday, a sniper gunned down five Dallas police officers during a Black Lives Matter protest.

President Barack Obama and other officials spoke, Tuesday, at a private memorial for the men.

Other police agencies in the state have also sent officers to Dallas.

Lt. Lex Bell with Unified police said the department has sent two motorcycle officers. Sgt. Todd Royce with Utah Highway Patrol sent two state troopers.

Salt Lake City police will also be represented.

The services for the officers are spread out over next several days.
