EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah —  A man accused of sexually abusing two young girls is now behind bars.

Police booked 66-year-old David Bills Thursday on suspicion of sexually abusing a 10- and 8-year-old girl over a five year period.

According to a probable cause statement, the girls stayed at Bills’ house once a month over the five year span.

Authorities said Bills would reportedly require the girls to shower with him where he would touch them inappropriately. He would repeatedly touch the girls inappropriately after they asked him to stop and forced the 10-year-old girl to watch sexually explicit music videos, the statement said.

Police said that as the 10-year-old girl got older she realized what had been happening was wrong and decided to tell a relative in late June.

Police attempted to interview Bills, but after a short introduction he declined and requested an attorney.

Bills is facing 30 counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and was booked into jail with a bail set at $100,000 cash only.  The Utah County Sheriff’s Office will continue to investigate.
