SALT LAKE CITY — A rollover crash that occurred on I-15 in Salt Lake City Friday morning was captured on dash cam.
Bruce Beck said he is the one whose Toyota Tacoma made contact with a PT Cruiser, causing the truck to turn over. It appears a third vehicle attempted to change lanes without room to do so, setting off a chain of events that led to the crash.
Trooper Nathan Clark with the Utah Highway Patrol said the crash occurred around 7:40 a.m. near 600 North on southbound I-15. The driver of the truck was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, primarily scrapes and bruises.
The driver of the PT Cruiser was not injured.
Clark said numerous witness statements mentioned a black vehicle that attempted an improper lane change into the lane occupied by the pickup truck. He said that driver left the scene, and they are still trying to identify that person.
