Utah author Charlie Holmberg shares the exciting news that she recently sold the movie rights for her book "The Paper Magician" to Disney. Allison Shearmur, who was an executive producer on the Hunger Games movies and a producer on Disney's well-regarded live action version of Cinderella is on board to produce the adaptation. Many people compare "The Paper Magician" trilogy to Harry Potter because of magical elements. Holmberg is very flattered by the comparison. The book is centered around Ceony Twill, who arrives at the cottage of Magician Emery Thane with a broken heart. She learns that after graduating at the top of her class, she is assigned an apprenticeship in paper magic, despite her dreams of bespelling metal. The book is appropriate for Young Adult to Adult readers and can be purchased here.
