Semi hauling live turkeys overturns in Sevier County, driver critical

SEVIER COUNTY, Utah – One man is in very critical condition after his semi, hauling live turkeys, overturned in Sevier County.

The Utah Highway Patrol said emergency crews rescued the man who was pinned under the semi on Highway 89 at mile post 188 north of Marysville and the I-70 interchange Thursday morning.

The man was flown to a nearby hospital where officials said he is in critical condition.

Authorities have not said what led to the rollover.

Crews are working to clean up a small fuel spill from the accident.

Authorities have not given an update on the condition of the turkeys at this time.
