PARK CITY, Utah - Parents are upset Park City Schools didn't tell them about a threat made against the high school sooner.
The Park City School District's Superintendent, Dr. Ember Conley, posted a statement Monday night on Facebook addressing a potential threat made back in October against schools on Kearns Blvd. that mentioned May 3.
The district said it immediately told police and there is extra security at the Kearns campus as a precaution.
But parents are saying they are upset they weren't notified sooner and Monday night was the first time they were hearing of the alleged threat.
A few parents said they were unsure about sending their children to school Tuesday.
