From cracks about his age to a reference to Game of Thrones’ Red Wedding, President Barack Obama had a smorgasbord of jokes to unleash at Saturday night’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
His jests included a comment about his recent approval ratings, with the president saying, “The last time I was this high, I was trying to decide on my major.”
He also took a shot at Dick Cheney, thanking current Vice President Joe Biden for always giving it to him straight and not “shooting anybody in the face”–an apparent reference to a hunting accident involving the previous VP.
See the video above for C-Span footage of Obama’s speech, which ended with an actual mic-drop that received an outpouring of applause.
