PLEASANT GROVE, Utah – A Utah-based essential oils company, doTERRA, is warning customers and distributors their information may be at risk after a data breach.
The company stated in a letter a third-party that hosts the company’s data learned of a security breach that may have exposed personal information like Social Security numbers, names, birth dates, payment card information, addresses, phone numbers, passwords and other personal information.
The company has not confirmed how many people may be at risk.
Officials with doTERRA said they have reached out by mail to anyone who anyone who data may have been accessed in the breach.
