PROVO, Utah – A BYU student isn’t letting negative dating experiences get her down.
Instead, she is pulling a Taylor Swift and turning those experiences into a song that is getting a lot of attention online.
Katie Wishart wrote “MRS Minor (Hey, Mr. Worthen)” with lyrics that make fun of the dating culture at BYU like bishops helping set up dates and the dreaded “D.T.R.” talk.
Her song also alludes to those “NCMOs,” or “non-committal make-outs,” which could lead to the scary DTRs.
