SALT LAKE CITY-- Thursday marks the first day of Salt Lake Comic Con's 'Fan Xperience 2016' downtown at the Salt Palace.
The 3 day event plays host to over 30 film and TV guests including actors from the popular television series 'The Walking Dead'.
General admission for Fan X begins at 2pm on Thursday and event organizers are expecting upwards of 100,000 people to attend the event from Thursday afternoon up until Saturday evening.
People waiting in line to see Buzz Aldrin at Fan X
The first celebrity appearance for Fan X is scheduled to be Buzz Aldrin at 3pm on Thursday where he's expected to talk about his experiences as an astronaut and the future of space travel.
Day passes are still available for the event but VIP passes are sold out according to Salt Lake Comic Con's website.
