Rocky Mountain Power says about 2,340 customers are without power across the state Thursday night after high winds and storms hit the Beehive State.
That is down from about 12,000 earlier Thursday. The outages are impacting customers in Salt Lake County, Summit County, Wasatch County, Utah County, Grand County, Iron County and Tooele County.
As of about 7:25 p.m., Rocky Mountain Power said local crews were continuing to work on repairs in order to restore power to all customers.
