WEST JORDAN, Utah -- A man is in critical condition after a suspected gang-related shooting in West Jordan early Saturday morning.

The shooting was reported at around midnight in the area of 1300 West and 7050 South. When police arrived on scene, they learned a shootout occurred between three males and one man at a party.

Officers on scene discovered one of the men on the ground with gunshot wounds to his calf, thigh and armpit. He was taken to Intermountain Medical Center in critical condition.

Sgt. Danny Benzon with West Jordan police said there is video surveillance of the scene that shows the party break up once the firing started between the individuals.

“They all started running opposite directions shooting back at each other," Benzon said.

Police say nobody else was injured but the three suspects fled the scene.

The suspects have not been identified at this time.

Witnesses are cooperating but if anyone has information regarding this incident is asked to call West Jordan police at 801-840-4000.

Sounds like a bunch of cockroaches with the mentality of a retarded chimpanzee. The only solution is a call to a pest control exterminator.

I think you’re giving the gang members too much credit by calling them cockroaches and chimpanzee’s, I think both have higher IQ’s than your average sagging pants gang member tough guy.
