KENTON COUNTY, Ky. -- An officer in Kentucky had an extremely close call with a deer.
According to a post on the Kenton County Police Department's Facebook page, an officer came across a large deer while driving this past weekend.
The video shows the deer "performing a Triple Axel" over the hood of the cruiser.
The deer appeared to brush it off and run away quickly. The officer was not hurt, but the cruiser was damaged.
Police say this can serve as a good training video on how to react when a deer tries to cross your path. In this case, the officer applied his brakes and steered away from the deer in a controlled manner. Police say he maintained control the entire time.
