SALT LAKE CITY - Authorities have detained a man at the federal building downtown who had a device that may have been explosive Thursday afternoon.
The bomb squad has the device and will destroy it.
The suspect is in custody for questioning at this time.
Officials have not confirmed the nature of the device or if it was an actual threat.
Authorities have confirmed there is no further threat downtown.
