SALT LAKE CITY -- A loud pop startled Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio and a crowd of supporters during a rally Monday afternoon.

The rally took place at the Pioneer Building at the Utah State Fair Park. Rubio was in the middle of addressing an audience of nearly 300 people when a loud pop startled people in the room.

"The Democrats always do that to my events, don't worry about," Rubio said with a smile as the crowd laughed.

After asking if everyone in the crowd was OK, he continued his speech.
