Police seek suspects after shots fired at nightclub in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY — Several shots were fired at a busy nightclub in downtown Salt Lake City early Saturday morning, and several suspects fled the scene after one of them fired a gun into the air.

Salt Lake City police said the incident occurred at Club X, 445 South 400 West, just after 1 a.m. Saturday after two groups at the club got into a fight and one person produced a firearm and fired several shots into the air.

The suspects left, with one person firing more shots as they exited. No one was struck by the bullets and no serious injuries were reported.

The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a black Chevy Impala. Further details and descriptions of the suspects were not available.
