STORRS, Conn. - An intoxicated food fight over bacon, jalapeno mac and cheese has landed a 19-year-old student in handcuffs.

Student Luke Gatti went to the Union Street Market in the University of Connecticut's student union with alcoholic beverage of choice in tow, according to WTIC.

Officials said staff confronted Gatti and asked him to leave which led to him berating the workers when they refused to serve him.

And as happens in most incidents today, the entire event was caught on camera.

During the scuffle, employees manage to wrestle Gatti to the ground and hold him there until police arrive.

Reports state he spit on an employee as authorities escorted him out of the student union.

He was arrested for breach of peace and criminal trespassing.

WTIC said this wasn't Gatti’s first run-in with the law.

He was arrested in 2014 for disorderly conduct after he allegedly threatened an officer and called him racial slurs.

Gatti was also arrested for interfering with officers while they tried to disperse a party.
