SOUTH JORDAN, Utah — A missing and endangered 9-year-old boy from South Jordan was found hours later in Herriman, authorities confirmed Tuesday evening.
Lucas Hayes walked away from his South Jordan home in the area of 11700 S. Hill Stone Drive at about 6:45 p.m. He was found in the area of 13400 S. 5500 West in Herriman after a motorist reported seeing the child walking along the side of the road.
Police say he had no injuries.
It is unknown how Lucas got there or why he walked away from his house.
