COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah - Unified Fire Authority updated Fox 13 on the battle plan to contain the fire in Cottonwood Heights that is threatening homes.
The fire has officially been named the Quail Hollow fire and crews said they don't expect to have it contained until after 10 p.m.
Air support is dropping fire-retardant material to help put out the flames.
The flames have spread over 20 acres at this time.
At least 30 homes have been evacuated and about 60 are threatened.
More than 115 firefighters are working to put out the fire, about 30 fire engines are at the site and two Black Hawks are now helping fight the flames from the air.
The FAA has imposed flight restrictionsin the area.
