WEST VALLEY CITY – Police in West Valley City are seeking the public’s help in locating a woman who hasn’t been seen for about a week and whose behavior prior to her disappearance was out of character.
Maria Maricela Astorga Chavez, 32, was last seen August 6 getting into a white Ford Expedition with a man known only as “Javier Huerta.”
Police said her behavior leading up to her disappearance was out of character.
The Hispanic woman is described as being 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
The woman was last seen wearing light blue jeans and a dark blue tank top.
Anyone who sees the woman or the man she was seen with is asked to contact West Valley City PD at 801-840-4000.
