PROVO, Utah — A fan who reportedly broke her arm while running to retrieve a “#BYU50” box was treated to a special surprise this week when the BYU football team arrived on her lawn to hoist her on their shoulders, sing the school fight song and present her and her family with season tickets.

As the tweet below shows, Amy Miller was obviously very excited when the team arrived, saying she “might pass out.”

Russell Tialavea, former BYU football player and current Football Assistant Director of Operations, tweeted a brief video of the team singing to Amy, and stated they visited her because “Amy broke her arm for the team.”

Wide Receiver Mitch Mathews also tweeted a pair of videos, one of which bore the caption: “She broke her arm running to the #BYU50 box. Best part, she got it. So we showed up.”

BYU Football and Coach Bronco Mendenhall also chimed in on Twitter to congratulate Miller.
