SALT LAKE CITY — Fall camp is officially underway for the Utes.

Exactly four weeks away from Utah’s season opener against Michigan, they conducted their first practice. Several position battles are ongoing for the Utes, including as quarterback with Travis Wilson, Kendal Thompson and the freshman out of Lone Peak, Chase Hansen competing for the job.

Wilson and Thompson split the reps a year ago for the Utes who are riding the momentum of a Las Vegas Bowl win last December.
