WEBER CANYON, Utah -- A semi-trailer rolled over on I-84 in Weber Canyon Saturday and sparked a small grass fire, and though the flames were extinguished westbound lanes of the highway were closed at the scene of the crash for much of the afternoon and into Saturday night.

Trooper Jared Cornia, Utah Highway Patrol, said there were minor injuries after the vehicle pulling two tankers rolled for an unknown reason.

Cornia said a small grass fire broke out but was extinguished.

There were several closures along I-84 near the scene of the crash, and westbound traffic was being diverted to Echo Canyon. Just after 9 p.m., Utah Department of Transportation personnel tweeted the scene had been cleared and the lanes reopened.
