SLC police seeks public’s help identifying robbery suspect

SALT LAKE CITY – Police in Salt Lake City are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Smith’s Food and Drug on June 25.

According to a press release issued Wednesday by the Salt Lake City Police Department, authorities are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the suspect, who is pictured in the graphic above.

The man allegedly entered a Smith’s at 922 East 2100 South on June 25 at 11:39 p.m. and asked for change from a cashier. When the cashier opened the register, the man allegedly pushed her out of the way, grabbed cash and fled on foot.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to contact Salt Lake City PD, referencing case number 15-115370.

The release states: “To share information about this or other criminal activity with the Salt Lake City Police Department, please call (801) 799-3000. To remain anonymous, text the keyword TIPSLCPD plus any relevant information to 274637. Reference: case #15-115370.”
