MILCREEK, Utah - Utah Utes cornerback Dominique Hatfield has been arrested and booked on suspicion of felony aggravated robbery while using or threatening to use a weapon, according to Unified Police.

The junior from Los Angeles was arrested just before 2 a.m. and has not been charged at this time.

Officials said a victim agreed to meet the seller, Hatfield, to buy an X-Box from an online classified ad.

Unified Police said Hatfield allegedly pulled a knife on the victim when they met at a car wash near 635 W. and 3900 S.  and demanded money.

The victim complied and gave Hatfield $180 who then allegedly ran to the Mountain Shadow apartments nearby.

Officers said the victim's wife arranged another meeting with the seller, Hatfield, to purchase an iPhone at the same location as the alleged first robbery.

This time, Unified officers were there and arrested Hatfield.

No one was injured during the alleged robbery.

The Utah Athletic Department said the coaching staff is out of town.

Officials said when Coach Kyle Whittingham returns next week, he will address the situation.
