WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – Police have arrested a woman after she allegedly led them on a chase through West Valley City overnight.
Officers said they tried to make a routine traffic stop but the driver didn’t pull over.
Police followed the driver to 3500 W. and 4600 S. where she jumped out of the truck and ran.
Authorities found the woman hiding in a widow well after a short search.
Officers said they believe the woman was under the influence at the time.
She is now facing charges for possession of a stolen vehicle and running from police along with previous felony warrants.
The suspect’s name has not been confirmed at this time.
