SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah — A Magna teen with severe autism was found safe after 24 hours of his disappearance.

Unified police put out a missing and endangered advisory for Jack Hunn, 15. He was found in West Valley City and is now back at home.

Jack has a history of running away for hours at a time but never for more than 24 hours, said Justin Hoyal, spokesman for Unified police.

“When he runs away he will run and can go long distances in a short amount of time,” according to a Unified police Facebook post.

Jack also has a history of taking bicycles.

Hoyal said Jack has been found in West Valley City, Salt Lake City and South Salt Lake in the past.
