Salt Lake City police seek help finding missing, endangered man

SALT LAKE CITY — Police in Salt Lake City are asking the public for help in locating a man who walked away from a mental health facility and hasn’t been seen since, and police said the man is not believed to pose a danger to others but may possibly be a danger to himself.

According to the Salt Lake City Police Department, 41-year-old Martin Ure was last seen Thursday around 6 p.m. in the area near 280 East 600 South.

Police stated the man walked away from a mental health facility and they added that while they don’t believe he is a danger to others, the man is possibly a danger to himself.

Ure is described as a white male who stands 6-feet tall and weighs 178 pounds. He has short, brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket and blue jeans. The man is pictured above.
