$5,000 reward offered for information on whereabouts of missing Provo woman

PROVO, Utah — A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the location of a woman who disappeared in Utah County last month.

Elizabeth Elena Laguna Salgado, 26, went missing April 16 after leaving the Nomen Global School, located in Provo at 384 W. Center Street.

Police and volunteers have conducted several searches since Salgado’s disappearance. Up to this point Salgado’s family feels optimistic that the 26-year-old is alive.

Volunteers have searched several areas in Utah County. A drone search was also conducted by Utah Lake. A group of volunteers will be searching the Spanish Fork area at 5 p.m. Monday.

Elizabeth Salgado is described as 5 feet 4 inches tall. She was last seen wearing a denim jacket, blue jeans, black or brown knee-high boots and carrying a denim handbag with red straps.
