SALT LAKE CITY – Elder L. Tom Perry, a leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was released from the hospital Wednesday evening.
Church officials confirmed Elder Perry, 92, was in the hospital earlier Wednesday.
The LDS church sent FOX 13 this statement regarding Elder Perry’s hospitalization:
“Elder L Tom Perry is in the hospital for tests and observation following some breathing difficulties. Elder Perry, who is 92, is the second most senior member of the quorum of the Twelve.”
The church has not confirmed what led to Elder Perry’s health issue at this time.
