SALT LAKE CITY - Secret Service agents are prepping the Sheraton on 500 S. in Salt Lake City before the president's visit, and President Barack Obama is set to speak at Hill Air Force Base Friday morning.

While the agents and the hotel did not confirm the president would stay at the site just off of I-15, the Secret Service asked FOX 13 News not to show their preparations. Fox 13 complied with the request.

The White House has only unveiled a very basic itinerary:

• 5:30 p.m. Thursday: Air Force One lands at Hill Air Force Base. The President will be greeted by dignitaries including Governor Gary Herbert
• 11:00 a.m. Friday: The President delivers a speech about the economy at Hill Air Force Base
• 11:30 a.m. Friday: Air Force One departs Hill Air Force Base

President Obama's departure was delayed Thursday, as he stayed in Washington during the ongoing talks with Iran regarding their nuclear program.

The schedule and the preparations in downtown Salt Lake City suggest commuters in Davis County may want to plan on delays Thursday evening and Friday morning.

The Utah Department of Transportation asked drivers to be looking out for the motorcade and to pull over for it.
